When “The Game” fans flipped off their televisions after the season three finale of the hit show in 2009—they were left wanting more. The original CW Network Series firmly caught the attention of millions of sports-lovers, lovers of sports-lovers, groupies, girlfriends, wives, and husbands, who all anxiously anticipated the game plan for Season 4. But instead, the CW Network dropped the ball and announced that “The Game” was cancelled.
Fans were left with a plot heavy finale in which main characters Melanie and Derwin tied the knot, while Derwin’s estranged ex-girlfriend Janay delivered her baby, frienemies Tasha and Kelly duked it out, and the nagging possibilities of what was to become of newly-divorced couple Jason and Kelly were still lingering.
After a year of building anticipation, BET announced the victorious comeback of everyone’s favorite team—the San Diego Sabers! It’s ‘game-on’ on January 11, 2011. We will be reacquainted with the lives of Jason, Kelly, Tasha, Melanie, Derwin, Malik, and the new addition—DJ aka. Derwin Junior. The Glit Inc. is looking forward to viewing and cheering on the Season 4 premiere episode in a chic, social, and very eventful way at Indulj Lounge in DC.
