DIONNE BROMFIELD’S LAST PERFORMANCE WITH MENTOR AMY WINEHOUSE

Video footage has surfaced of the young British sensation Dionne Bromfield performing in the presence of her godmother whom happened to be the late Amy Winehouse. The footage was recorded just three days before Amy’s untimely demise, and is said to be the last known footage of her on stage. To add an eerie, almost foreshadowing element to the performance, the song in which was performed was a remake of the classic song “Mama Said” originally performed by the Shirelles in 1961.

The 15 year old Dionne crooned while Amy shimmied exemplifying an almost carefree, happy attitude. ”Mama Said” comes across as a song that basically forewarns of the rough times we all face, only to be followed by better times. Amy Winehouse has seen her rough times, and is most definitely among better ones.In light of Amy’s passing, Dionne paid tribute to her via twitter, stating; ”Forever in my heart….love you always #amy ♥”  Mama said there will be days like this, Mama was right, Rest in peace Ms. Winehouse.
