Britni Elise
I’d like to introduce you to Britni Elise, an undeniable shining star amongst a new class of female R&B artist. Hailing from Ohio, Britni comes from a place that has produced an extensive list of notable music professionals—artist such as; The O Jays, Avant, and Lyfe Jennings, just to name a few. A virtual child prodigy, this Midwestern beauty has been able to hold a tune since the age of three years old.
As a teenager, Britni performed as a major component of both R&B and Gospel singing groups. While part of these musical troupes, she offered not only her amazing vocal talents, but also the ability to write and produce the majority of the music. In 2007, Britni’s mission to become a pop icon became on solo mission. She ultimately decided to no longer be a part of a collective, and began to focus on her individual quest for stardom. Britni broke new ground in reference to her solo career when she became the first recording artist to sign with K-Lo Entertainment, developed by former MLB player Kenny Lofton.

Singer Britni Elise
This down to earth diva’s sound can be compared to the likes of Beyoncé, or even Keri Hilson. Her overall vocal ability and stage presence demands respect much like the two aforementioned artists. Comparisons are common in the world of music, but looking beyond comparisons, Britni is undoubtedly looking to create her own significant style. Her effervescent sense of fashion and even the noticeably unique spelling of her name exemplify a high level of creativity that resonates throughout her music.
Her catchy songs are demonstrative of female empowerment mixed with an apparent party vibe. Currently in rotation is her song “Rock This”, which comes across as an instant anthem track. Another recent, soon to be hit, and potential anthem is Britni’s “I Miss You” a song about heartbreak. “Being heartbroken sucks… ‘I Miss U’ is a song that allows you to express how hurt you are…it allows me to express that #Screamout” said Britni on her Twitter page. Britni is now in the process of completing her debut album “My Diary” that I’m sure is going to make the Britni Elise fan base “Scream Out” for more.
Take a listen to “I Miss You” by Britni Elise
