Even during her Danity Kane days, it was clear that Dawn Richard’s vocals had a stand-alone quality that deserved solo spotlight, and now that Diddy has finished stacking his dirty money, Richard is jumping heart-first into her debut solo project. Only three months after announcing her solo plans, Richard releases the Rob Holladay-produced track “Love Won’t Lose” from her forthcoming album,Golden Heart, which is the first of a trilogy. Following the release of her debut LP, Richard will drop Black Heart and Redemption Heart, all under Bad Boy Records.
