After the viral release of her debut single, “Take Me Away,” in late June, the ATL songbird’s sound spread like wild fire. Today, after five months of hitting the studio crazy hard, the 21-year-old songstress dropped her debut mixtape Confessions of a Virgo, hosted by DJ Sense. The mixtape is already being compared to Mary J.’s What’s the 411 and her popular debut track, “Take Me Away,” which samples the classic Luniz track “I Got Five On It,” is now taking a backseat to new fan favorites like the sexy “Bedroom Rockstar” and the melodic “A Gift From Virgo.” The Artist 1st and Rhythm & Streets recording artist is definitely looking to re-position ATL on the music scene.
